When a tooth is too damaged for a filling but doesn't require a full crown, inlays and onlays offer the perfect middle ground. These custom-made restorations are often called 'partial crowns.' We design them to fits precisely into the prepared cavity, strengthening the tooth and restoring its shape and function with minimal removal of healthy tooth structure.
The Process

Preparation
We remove the old filling or decay, keeping as much healthy tooth structure as possible.

Digital Scan
Instead of messy putty, we take a 3D digital scan of your tooth for a precise fit.

Fabrication
Your custom inlay or onlay is crafted from strong ceramic, often in a single visit with our CEREC technology.

Bonding
We permanently bond the restoration to your tooth, restoring its full strength and function.
